A&D SPEEDS WEIGHING DATA COLLECTION WITH ITS EASY TO USE WinCT® COMMUNICATION SOFTWARE

For communication between your A&D balance and your computer, A&D offers WinCT, a Windows communication tools software. Quality control and production managers will appreciate the ease of use and ability to collect and store data directly into Windows applications, as well as the ability to print needed graphs and reports such as GLP, ISO or GMP from the computer. With WinCT the computer can also control the scale or balance in a specified sequence or time.

WinCT software can be used for a wide variety of applications including audit verifications, time-history graphs, animal weighing, parts counting, totalizing and over/under check weighing. It is compatible with most Windows data applications including Microsoft Excel, Access, Microsoft Windows 95, 98 or 2000. English version is required.

One computer can collect data from a single weighing device via an RS-232C interface or from multiple devices via a high speed Universal Serial Bus (USB) network. The computer also becomes a remote indicator as it displays the weighing data. All A&D weighing equipment with an interface are USB network compatible and able to utilize WinCT.

WinCT has two operating modes to provide flexibility in using the system. The RsKey mode transmits data to the computer and pastes the data directly into a Windows application such as Excel or Word. The RsCom mode transmits data to the computer using a text file format, which allows the data to be used in Windows applications in addition to others. The RsCom mode also allows the computer to control the weighing device by transmitting various commands including Calibrate, On/Off, Print, Query (for ¡§transmit¡¨) weight data, Re-zero, Range, Sample, Mode and Zero. Both modes offer user selectable time, date, sequential numbering, and interval transmission.
